Financial Controller vacancy – County Meath €75-80k/pa + benefits A water/engineering company have an opening for a Financial Controller. You will be responsible for all management and development activities of the Finance Function relating to the activities, in support of the delivery of Annual, Medium and Long-Term EBITDA Targets, defined in the annual Budget and longer planning periods. Main Duties and Responsibilities include: Ensure Management accounts delivered monthly in accordance with Group deadlines • Extensive ERP system use with continuous system efficiency and improvement suggestions expected • Work with procurement, tendering and engineers to ensure accurate costings on projects • Monitor margin analysis by project and report on such and Providing cost analysis • Budgeting and Forecasting throughout year as determined by Group typically 2-3 a year • Supervision of accounts assistant re debtor and creditor control • Guide AP team on any queries in relation to suppliers • Cash and Working Capital Management experience is essential • Keeping up to date records with Revenue etc. and taxes up to date (Ireland and UK) Skills and Experience • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3-5 years PQE • Experience from Manufacturing and Engineering Industry essential • Experience of ERP systems – prior experience in SAP an advantage Great opportunity for anyone looking for a change!
