Join our dynamic team as a commercially minded FP&A analyst to improve financial decision making and support the business in meeting its strategic financial goals.

We are seeking a numerically and commercially savvy individual with strong financial modelling capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex financial concepts to a non-financial audience.

The successful candidate will own performance reporting, play a key role in forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, and partner with senior leaders to develop the business plan.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant 3rd Level Degree, a professional accountancy qualification, and experience in financial services with an Insurance and/or Funds background.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owner of performance reporting for Mediolanum International Life dac (MIL)
  • Play a key role in forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
  • Product profitability analysis to support decision making with the Investment, Product & Risk teams
  • Support a culture of cost accountability across the business
  • Partner with senior leaders including CFO (Mediolanum International Funds), General Manager (MIL) & CFO (MIL)
  • Grow skills supporting Finance and cross-functional projects

Qualifications and experience required include:

  • Relevant 3rd Level Degree (actuarial, finance, economics, and mathematics)
  • 2+ years' experience in a commercial environment and a professional accountancy qualification
  • Experience in financial services with Insurance and/or Funds background
  • Proficient in utilising technology including MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Power BI)
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA & Analytics Cloud financial systems
