SummaryA senior leadership role in the financial reporting department, with a focus on leading Financial Reporting delivery across key client relationships, managing and developing staff, possessing strong technical expertise on financial reporting matters, driving department strategy at local and global levels, and implementing necessary change. The role also includes strengthening internal control and risk management processes as appropriate and general management of ad hoc tasks as required.Principal TasksLead, manage, and develop relationships with assigned clients and associated auditors.Work closely with the department head and other senior staff within financial reporting and across functions to manage and lead the Financial Reporting team.Provide technical senior manager insight and review to financial statements to ensure they represent ‘best in class’ at local and global levels.Provide senior leadership and technical financial reporting advice to staff, clients, audit firms, and other parties as required.Observe, inspect, and evaluate the performance of staff in the department, implementing ongoing development plans as part of career progression.Successfully lead and implement business transformation targets and objectives as part of ongoing development and change.Continuously challenge and steer change in the department, encouraging new ways to make the department more efficient and risk-controlled through technology, automation, process review, and change.Ensure adherence to procedures, policies, controls, and processes to deliver a best-in-class service, proposing and/or implementing procedural changes to improve department performance.Ensure compliance with all internal policies by the Financial Reporting teams in Ireland, demonstrating a ‘Risk Excellence’ culture in behavior.
