Director of Financial Reporting 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Dublin, Ireland Whats on Offer? In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, specifically US GAAP financial statements, along with providing supporting analysis and information. This is an opportunity to expand your expertise and play an active role in enhancing company processes. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Prepare US GAAP and SEC-compliant reports for quarterly and year-end financials Provide support for quarterly reporting through financial statements, external/internal reports, press releases, and presentations Deliver analysis for the CFO, focusing on financial and business performance Ensure the integrity of the financial reporting process and controls, including the completion of quarterly SOX controls Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely and efficient reviews and audits at quarter-end and year-end Lead efforts to develop and improve regular accounting analysis Assist with the creation and implementation of accounting policies, transaction accounting analysis, and other special projects Perform additional duties as required Requirements: 6+ years post-qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) Experience in an international environment, ideally within a Big Four audit firm Relevant experience in financial reporting in a global setting (Aircraft leasing and/or US GAAP experience is an advantage) Key Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Analytical mindset, with the ability to drive improvements in financial processes Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Effective communicator at all levels of the organization Flexible and willing to commit additional time during peak reporting periods Contact: For more information, reach out to us for a detailed overview of the role, the company, and the offer.
