Financial Reporting Senior Manager / Director 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Dublin, Ireland What is on offer? In this position, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports (US GAAP financial statements) and supporting financial information and analysis. You will be challenged to develop andextend your knowledge and skills and to proactively participate in projects to improve company processes. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with working experience in financial reporting and analysis. Responsibilities: Preparation of US GAAP/SEC compliant reporting at quarter and year ends. Preparation of information supporting quarterly reporting including financial statements, external and internal reports, press releases and presentations. Preparation of analysis for the CFO including analysis regarding the companys financial and business performance. Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and controls including completion of quarterly Sox controls. Liaise with auditors to ensure efficient and timely quarterly review and year-end audit procedures. Drive development and enhancement of periodic accounting analysis. Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and assist with transaction accounting analysis and other special projects. Other ad-hoc duties as required. Requirements: 6+ Years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) Relevant experience in an international environment including a big four audit firm Relevant experience with financial reporting in an international environment (Aircraft leasing and/or US GAAP experience is a plus) Key Competencies: Professional verbal and written communication skills. Displays strong attention to detail. Ability to organise and schedule work effectively to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Analytical and challenging mindset that can drive change and improvements in everyday finance processes. Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Flexible; willing to apply extra commitment during busy financial reporting periods.
