Job description Cirio Homes are recruiting for an experienced and competent Finishing Foreman to join our dynamic team in Maryborough Ridge, Douglas, Co. Cork. Our current projects include construction of 237 residential units in Cobh and 447 units in Maryborough Ridge, Co. Cork. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in construction and a good understanding of building codes and regulations are also important. Responsibilities include: Manage teams of subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure quality standards are met with clear communication, collaboration and maintaining project objectives. Work closely with the site manager and project team to coordinate tasks. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the required standards and specifications. Manage the schedule for finishing works to ensure that tasks are completed on time. Address any issues that arise during the finishing phase of construction projects. Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and that workers are following safety protocols. Report any issues or concerns directly. Monitor spending to ensure that the finishing phase stays within budget. Skills and Qualifications: Relevant tertiary degree or qualification or sound experience in a similar role Knowledge of building and construction Good communication skills - Excellent attention to detail Understanding and implementation of site health and safety Time management skills Leadership abilities Logical thinking and problem solving Good working knowledge of current construction standards and requirements Requirements: Very good command of English Must be able to work in Ireland
