Finishing Foreman Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin Salary: €75,000 + Package (Van & Fuel) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finishing Foreman to join our clients team for an exciting project in Blanchardstown, Dublin. The project involves the construction of a 200-unit+ housing project, and we need a dedicated professional to ensure that the finishing stages meet the highest standards of quality and precision. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the finishing phase of the construction project, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within the specified timeframe. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building standards. Address any issues or defects promptly, implementing corrective measures to maintain project integrity. Provide clear and concise reports on progress, challenges, and any deviations from the plan to the project manager. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, ensuring that all team members adhere to health and safety protocols. Manage the procurement and delivery of materials required for finishing tasks, ensuring no delays in the project timeline. Lead and motivate a team of tradespeople, fostering a productive and positive working atmosphere. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on similar residential construction projects. Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, particularly in the finishing phase. Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry. Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable.
