The Client: My Client a c.€140m T/O Main Contractor with a good name in the Irish Construction industry. They have been trading 100+ years and have 6+ live projects in the Dublin region. Their main focus currently are Apartments, Hotels and Aparthotels and Supermarkets but they have a history of building schools, hospitals and factories too, This particular project is a 280no. room Aparthotel in the City Centre which will be ready for a Finishing Foreman in Mid November. We're looking for someone with previous Finishing Foreman experience, a good attention to detail and, ideally having a trade (carpentry/joinery/plastering/plumbing/electrician etc). As this is an established, close-knit team, we're also looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in what they do and seeing others do well. As this position has supervisory responsibilities, we are also looking for someone has the ability to develop people and processes and who possesses excellent communication skills. Main responsibilities will include: Work closely with Site Manager/Project Manager to organise daily requirements including: labour, ordering of materials, expected daily targets. Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site Directing of H&S on site to ensure highest standards are maintained Perform company compliance and administration procedures and record performance and progress of site operations Requirements: 2+ years experience in similar position (this can include Site Manager/Foreman/Finishing Foreman/Site Supervisor/Charge Hand). Third level qualification in construction management or hold trade certificates. Previous experience working on commercial/residential fit out projects. Have the ability to lead personnel, use initiative and be self-motivated. Knowledge of latest building regulations and certification standards. Ability to work well under pressure and perform to specified deadlines. Full clean drivers license. What's on offer? Negotiable salary (DOE).
