#IJ Finishing Foreman - Tipperary This position will be working on a Clonmel, Tipperary based project. The Finishing Foreman is responsible for finishing trades onsite, ensuring that they consistently deliver a high specification finish, on time and on budget. The successful candidate will work closely with the site personnel to deliver project finishes to the highest possible standard. Working with the client and Project Manager you would be overseeing from first fix stage right the way through preparing and managing snagging lists, reporting on sub-contractors as well as maintaining a high level of Health and Safety. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, co-ordinate and monitor sub-contractor's performance. Proven track record in successfully delivering projects in line with agreed deadlines and to the highest standard. Monitor their own progress and the progress of others in accordance with the agreed project schedule, progress reporting against Safety, Quality, Schedule. Maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient site always. Ensure clear understanding and compliance with drawings, specifications building regulations and good building practice whilst working closely with the Project Manager to highlight any issues. Experience & Skills 3+ years in a Finishing Foreman position overseeing with a detailed knowledge of construction in both new build and high end residential or major large commercial projects. 3+ years' experience as a qualified tradesperson in construction trade e.g., carpenter, bricklayer etc., 1+ years' experience working with Irish H&S/building regulations and compliance. Enthusiastic personality with a strong work ethic. Ability to work well using initiative, problem solving when required. IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
