To undertake the detailed design and draughting of Sprinkler drawings for current projects Developing of Drawings and supporting documentation to Mercury Fire Protection standards.
Oversee the Co-ordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings ensuring client spec compliance and Mercury SOP compliance.
Work hand in hand with the CMT to ensure that design; materials; manpower and schedule are all in place to enable the construction trades can deliver on time, every time.
Senior designers to sign off QA sheets following design review with designer Ensure uniformed drawings are prepared to Mercury design standards Review and understand design specifications, ensuring design teams are up to speed.
Liaise with commercial team cost implications to design changes / progress issues Evaluate and promote the use of new engineering practices and processes to enhancedelivery time of the project.
Preparation and agreeing project completion criteria and close out documents and manuals Preparing Sub-contract and Supplier Tender Packages in conjunction with Project QS.
Development and use of forward-looking indicators to ensure all elements of the project are delivered in accordance with the project objectives.
Delivery of accurate and detailed reports Attend site meetings Essential Criteria of the Role: Ideally 3 or more years of experience with Fire Protection/Sprinkler design Good understanding of Autocad / Revit Able to work in a team environment Understanding of MEP installations Mercury is an equal opportunities employer.
