You will be a key member of a cross-functional team of innovators, working on unique wireless technology that will enable millions of people to stay connected.The RoleDesign, develop, integrate and bring up Kuiper-MAC FW components/drivers in a real-time embedded environmentWorking in a cross-functional environment to define multi-dimensional performance requirements (e.g., MIPs, memory BW)Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet end-to-end use case requirementBuild component use-cases/test-cases and debug your code in Kuiper embedded environmentProfile and execute the code on RTOS and/or bare-metal embedded environmentContribute in defining services and functionalities delivered by your FW-subsystemsDefine, document, test and debug your FW-HW interfacesFamiliarity with SW/FW best practices (e.g., clean architecture, refactoring, …)Export Control RequirementDue to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
