The Floor Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager and 2 IC (second in command) in the day to day running of the department / store, including staff, stock control, sales, health & safety and more.
You will need to make certain that our standards of customer satisfaction are maintained at all times thus ensuring revenue is optimized.
In conjunction with the Store Manager manage the store business operations, including managing profit and loss, special promotions, merchandising, displays and events, safety and security.
Joint responsibility alongside the manager and 2 IC for stock management, including ordering, price changes, execution of stocktakes, handling damaged products and returns.
Provide world class customer service; be on hand to help customers by providing information; answer questions; obtain merchandise requested; complete payment transactions and prepare merchandise for delivery.
Maintain current knowledge of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitions are doing.
