Job Description
Experienced Floor Supervisors required to join the Management team at an exciting new venue opening soon in Dublin 2.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry in Ireland.
- Fluent English (essential)
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
- Solid understanding of bar and restaurant operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
The position will involve:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring smooth service and a high standard of customer care.
- Supervising and coordinating the waiting staff, assigning duties, and monitoring performance.
- Assisting with training and development of the team, ensuring consistency in service and adherence to restaurant standards.
- Addressing and resolving customer complaints or issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Liaising with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Managing table reservations, seating arrangements, and floor plans to maximize efficiency and optimize the guest experience.
- Conducting pre-service briefings to inform staff of any special menu items, events, or guest requirements.
- Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols are consistently maintained throughout the dining area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From €16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
