Food Safety & Quality Manager sought to lead food safety and quality initiatives across the entire supply chain for a successful Irish food retailer.

Responsibilities include:
- Implementing and managing Food Safety Management Systems according to current legislation and standards.
- Leading the internal HACCP team and overseeing standards through an internal auditing program.
- Coordinating with Regulatory Authorities and ensuring legal compliance.
- Managing supplier and product approval protocols.
- Aligning the Management Team with FS&Q objectives.
- Defining and managing finished product quality.
- Conducting audits of FSMS compliance and resolving issues with the team.
- Keeping Food Safety training requirements up to date.
- Addressing FSQ operational issues and consumer complaints.
- Maintaining site hygiene and pest control standards.
- Reporting on FSQ performance against targets.
Requirements:
- Science or Food Science qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of technical Quality management experience.
- Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Management systems.
- Experience in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems.
- Flexibility, quick learning ability, problem-solving skills, and strong communication and organizational skills.
- A full driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
