Food Safety & Quality Manager My client, a highly successful Irish food retailer is looking for a Food Safety & Quality Manager to support Food Safety & Quality across the entire supply chain. Package Generous salary doe Bonus Pension Life Assurance Free Parking Responsibilities of this Food Safety & Quality Manager include Implementing and managing Food Safety Management Systems according to current legislation and standards. Leading the internal HACCP team and overseeing standards through an internal auditing program. Coordinating with Regulatory Authorities (HSE, FSAI) and ensuring legal compliance, including regulatory, third-party, and customer audits and inspections. Managing supplier and product approval protocols. Aligning the Management Team with FS&Q objectives. Defining and managing finished product quality. Conducting audits of FSMS compliance and resolving issues with the team. Keeping Food Safety training requirements up to date and managing the review of training materials to ensure they meet standard requirements. Addressing FSQ operational issues and consumer complaints satisfactorily. Maintaining site hygiene and pest control standards. Reporting on FSQ performance against targets. Requirements for this Food Safety & Quality Manager include Essential: Science or Food Science qualification. Minimum of 3-5 years of technical Quality management experience. Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Management systems. Experience in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems. Flexibility, quick learning ability, problem-solving skills, and strong communication and organizational skills. A full driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
