Our client, a leading FMCG company are looking for a Food Safety and Quality Manager to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for providing Food Safety & Quality support at each area of Production from storage and transport, including supplier, manufacturing, & product management. Benefits: Bonus Pension Life assurance 3 times annual base salary from start date Discount Scheme w Home Office Furniture Onsite Parking The main duties of this role include, but are not limited to: Implementation, and Management of Food Safety Management Systems in accordance with current legislation, and to prescribed standards. Lead internal HACCP team and management of standards through internal auditing programme. Co-ordination with Regulatory Authorities (HSE, FSAI) / Legal compliance, including regulatory, 3 rd party and customer audits and inspections. Management of supplier and product approval protocol. Ensure alignment of Management Team with FS&Q objectives. Definition and Management of finished product quality. Conduct Audits of FSMS compliance and resolve issues with the team. Ensure Food Safety training requirements are up to date. Managing the review of food safety training materials to ensure training programmes meet standard requirements. Satisfactory resolution of FSQ operational issues and Consumer Complaints. Ensuring site hygiene, and pest control standards are maintained. Reporting on FSQ performance against targets. The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: Science/ Food Science Qualification Essential. Min 3-5 years technical Quality management experience. HACCP/Food Safety Management systems knowledge. Experience in implementing and managing QMS. Flexibility, quick learner, problem solver, good communication and good organisational skills.
