Foreman Electrician FRS Recruitment Location: Mid Kerry Salary: Rate to be negotiated Position: 12 months initial contract Working hours: 39-hour week On behalf of our client, who is an Electrical Contractor for both Commercial and Industrial projects, we are seeking a Foreman Electrician to join their team in Mid Kerry. As a Foreman Electrician you will lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities: Lead electricians and apprentices, assign tasks, and ensure project milestones are met. Oversee and participate in electrical installations and maintenance for power distribution, lighting, wiring, and control systems. Ensure work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections. Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and work quality. Maintain progress reports, timesheets, and material tracking. Manage materials, tools, and inventory on site. Requirements: 5 years' time served with a Level 6 QQI certification in Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent. 2 years' experience in a site lead role working in a Hazardous Area with a strong emphasis on Safety and Quality. Have completed the Electrical Verification & Certification course with a Qualified Certifier (QC) number. Demonstrable a high level of technical knowledge with practical application. Salary will be in line with qualifications and experience.
