Job Description
Experienced Site Foreman sought for a busy Main Contractor specialising in new build housing developments in the North Leinster Region.
About the Company
Very busy Main Contractor with 150+ units across the North Leinster Region.
The Role
Coordination and supervision of the finishing of a Commercial Development.
Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
Report into and support the Site manager, Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
Oversee manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors and consult with local authorities when needed.
Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure that site requirements are met without exceeding budget.
Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high.
Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
Host tool box talks and meetings with direct staff to outline the works required.
Requirements
A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background.
Ideally Carpentry of Joinery Background.
A minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar role on commercial projects.
Experience working with bespoke joinery packages.
About the Job
This is a challenging opportunity to work on a large-scale new build housing development with a busy Main Contractor.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential new builds and experience in managing a team.
The project is a greenfield site with 2+ years remaining on the programme and the opportunity to design a further 60 units.
The company has a good site set up with support from project manager and contracts manager.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of H&S policies and procedures.
