Purpose of the Role: The post holder will co-ordinate and facilitate the education of nursing staff undertaking the Foundation Programme in Haematology Oncology Nursing in collaboration with the Centre of Childrens Nurse Education (CCNE) and University college Dublin (UCD). The post holder will be pivotal in the co-ordination and management of ongoing education and support for nursing staff in the Haematology Oncology environment Essential Criteria: RCN/RN Child branch with 5 years Post Graduate experience or RGN with 5years acute paediatric experience Min. 2yrs experience in Haematology Oncology setting. Successfully completed a Preceptorship programme Ability to co-ordinate effectively Graduate Diploma in Cancer Nursing (or working towards) Ability to work as autonomous practitioner Ability to persuade and influence others Identify learning needs of all staff and act as a facilitator Use educational strategies to motivate and retain staff How to Apply & Informal Enquiries: * Please note that you must submit a cover letter with your CV, this forms part of your application and CVs will not be accepted without a detailed cover letter.
