Job Description
Seeking experienced Automation Engineers for a Pharmaceutical project in Ireland, with a focus on control systems, SCADA, and PLC-based applications.
Foxboro I/A Engineer required, with 3+ years of experience and a valid EU work permit.
Responsibilities
- Design, specification, programming, and testing of control systems, including Foxboro IA, Delta V, Allen Bradley Plant PAX, Siemens PLC, SCADA, Wonderware, and HMI.
- Specification, design, development, and testing of industrial SCADA, DCS, and PLC-based applications, including S88 Batch.
- Responsible for industrial automation/control system integration and related support systems, such as Data Historian, EBRs, Alarm Management, PI, etc.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required quality standards.
- Knowledge and familiarity with the development and execution of C&Q documents and CSV deliverables, such as Planning, User/Functional Requirements, Design Specifications, Design Qualification (DQ), testing development and execution, and Final Reporting.
- Knowledge of ISA's S88 standard, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology equipment and processes desired.
- Configuration/coding experience with Foxboro I/A HLBC.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation, or Chemical).
- 6-10 years of industrial automation experience, with a focus on life sciences industries.
Desired Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for programming and troubleshooting of process systems.
- HLBC Coding experience on Foxboro IA.
- Ability to work well under pressure and with uncertainty.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Organized, with strong computer literacy, including MS Project and Excel.
