Our client is a renowned international organisation operating within the FMCG industry. As part of a strategic 5-year business plan, they are seeking an ambitious Financial Analyst to support their international development. Role will play a key part in P&L management, data analysis and business insights. Role Responsibilities: Collaborate with the team to build profitability models and recommend appropriate level of investment, based on annual brand plans submitted by importers Profitability and pricing analysis to facilitate price increases and collaborate with senior stakeholders on price benchmarking and action planning Have oversight of the Advertising & Promotion process within the international division, to include the monitoring of expenses, computation of monthly accruals, and validation of customer claims against earned funds Using Power BI templates, perform financial analysis of distributors' depletion and stockholding submissions Assist with development of systems and processes to enhance planning, A&P, and pricing strategies Assist in the annual sales budget process, creating standardized templates for customer sharing, followed by a thorough review, analysis, and recommendation of proposed plans for management approval Maintain and update long-term financial plans within the corporate forecasting system Ensure compliance with local and group reporting in relation to Finance and Tax Perform month-end activities including preparation of journals, reconciling of accounts and preparation of management accounts for review by Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting Support the implementation of Internal Controls and reporting on compliance to Group Preparation and filing of all indirect tax returns, liaising with Tax Director in relation to any tax related matters Support Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting and International FP&A Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis activities Contribute to ad-hoc projects, offering well-informed recommendations to enhance effectiveness and boost sales, revenues, and customer satisfaction Roles Qualifications: Qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA) Minimum 2 years financial analysis within industry Advanced analytical skills Possess strong systems skills, including advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI is preferred Highly motivated, organized, and self-directed individual results oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external contacts Passion and personal accountability for maintaining high standards in his/her work Interested in this Opportunity?
