Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.Position OverviewPerforming in a fast-paced environment, the Senior Analyst will be a key member of Legend’s FP&A organization. This role will have unique exposure to various levels of the business through participation in consolidated collaboration reporting, forecasting and reporting, and cost improvement initiatives.Major ResponsibilitiesFP&A senior analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial planning process by supporting the FP&A activities and engagement with Legend’s leadership team across the organization.Key tasks include developing analysis to support business performance, managing collaboration budget, quarterly forecasting and actuals as well as long-range planning.Support FP&A leaders and business unit leaders in managing collaboration spend by providing analytical insight on costs and drivers.Partnering with IT and Human Resources in developing and managing time reporting in a timely and accurate manner.Working closely with FP&A management and our collaboration Finance partners in managing regular Finance Working Group meetings by documenting regular meeting minutes and updating Q&A for the financial results and addressing any ad-hoc requests as needed.Prepare executive level presentations and provide insightful analysis for key stakeholders.Participate in internal and external audit reviews and process walkthroughs as needed.Designing, developing and implementing methods and strategies to continually improve information processes.Support month-end close activities as needed.QualificationEducation:Bachelor’s Degree required; a major in Accounting or Finance preferred.Professional certification (CPA/CMA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) required.MBA or advanced degrees preferred.Experience:A minimum of 3+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience.FP&A experience in a matrix environment.Prior life sciences industry experience is preferred.Knowledge of SOX financial controls on Accounting and Reporting processes is preferred.Capabilities, Knowledge, and Skills:Ability to partner and collaborate with all levels of the organization.Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to turn financial information into insights for our business partners.Complex modeling and forecasting capabilities with focus on tracking key assumptions.High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint) required; Excellent data management and reporting skills required.High proficiency with business reporting and analysis tools (Onestream preferred).Knowledge of common business and financial drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.Experience in ERP systems (SAP, etc.) strongly preferred.Language(s): English is required.Legend Biotech is a proud equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to attracting, retaining, and maximizing the performance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
