Job Description
Freight Forwarder role in Dublin region with prominent company offering career development and competitive salary package.
Remuneration:
- Salary: £27,000 - £35,000
- Annual performance-related bonuses
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate importing or exporting of goods from global origins
- Coordinate collection process through transportation companies
- Collaborate with clients, branch offices, international agents, and haulage providers
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring timely updates
- Supervise order tracking, invoicing, and processing pre-alerts from overseas offices and agents
- Handle Customs entries as required
- Track shipments until final delivery
- Handle job costing and invoicing duties
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working for an Irish-based freight forwarder
- Experience in import or export operations involving air, road, or ocean shipments
- Proficiency in customs clearance procedures
- Hands-on experience with freight-related software such as Azyra, Thyme-IT, Cargowise, etc.
- Outstanding customer service skills
