We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Branch Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and driving business growth.

The ideal candidate will oversee logistics operations, sales, and service functions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives.

About the Job

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily freight forwarding operations, supervising and guiding the Operations and Sales teams, and building strong relationships with overseas agents and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Supervision:
    • Supervise and ensure the Operations and Sales teams perform their duties effectively.
    • Provide necessary guidance and support to the team.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily freight forwarding operations, including shipments, documentation, and logistics.
    • Ensure all operational requirements are met efficiently and in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Customer Service:
    • Handle customer service inquiries and resolve issues.
    • Escalate matters when necessary to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Drive business growth by managing sales activities.
    • Conduct sales calls and identify new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build strong relationships with overseas agents and vendors.
    • Sourcing competitive rates and exploring additional service and sales opportunities.
  • Project Management:
    • Organize and manage project cargo shipments and complex logistics solutions.
    • Ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Training and Development:
    • Provide training and support to operations staff on new procedures, systems, or products.
    • Help them integrate new business and customer requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Leadership Experience:
    • Strong leadership and management experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Proven track record in sales and business development within the freight industry.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving:
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of industry regulations, shipping documentation, and compliance.
  • Project Management:
    • Ability to multitask and manage complex logistics projects.
