Lead Front-End Design Digital Architect Required for Multinational Semiconductor EDA Provider

Client requires a highly experienced Front-End Design Digital Architect for a role based in Cork City, Ireland. The role involves joining a team developing leading-edge Intellectual Property (IP) for various High-Tech Markets. The successful candidate will be based in Ireland as part of an experienced Controller IP Team with established development sites in Europe and India. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for complex IP such as UCIe, PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, and MIPI
• Lead RTL, Testbenches, and FPGA Platform development
• Plan activities and milestones for Digital Controller Development teams
• Lead cross-functional technical meetings with Analog and Software counterparts
• Support customer meetings and participate in Technical Review Meetings
• Represent Cadence in Standards Body Working Groups

Requirements:

• 16+ years' experience in microelectronics/EDA industry
• Verilog RTL Design experience essential
• Metric Driven Verification (MDV) experience essential
• Experience with Front-end design tools covering LINT, Synthesis, and CDC Analysis
• So C Architecture and Development experience essential
• Technical Team leadership experience essential
• Excellent oral and written English skills

Education: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related discipline. Additional Skills/Preferences:

• Experience with AMBA, PCIe, CXL, and UCIe protocols
• Quality process experience, such as ISO-9001 and ISO-26262
