Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House/Receptionist or Registered Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team at Pearls Dental, a leading dental practice in Ireland.

Pearls Dental is a distinguished company with over 20 years of experience in the dental industry, known for its expertise in Orthodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and General Dentistry.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a crucial role in shaping their experience with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients to the practice in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, including handling cancellations and reschedules.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle patient inquiries empathetically and efficiently.
  • Maintain patient records and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
  • Coordinate with dental professionals and assist in managing their schedules.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.

Duties for Registered Dental Nurse:

  • Providing chairside assistance to the dentist.
  • Cross-infection control and sterilisation.
  • Help at the front desk.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage warmly with patients and colleagues.
  • A professional, welcoming, and patient-focused demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A full driver's license is desirable.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or relevant dental knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or front desk role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).
  • Basic understanding of dental terminology and procedures (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €15.50-€18.00 per hour
