Frontend Software Engineer (Contract) Contract Duration: Initial 3 Months Start Date: ASAP Role Overview: My client is looking for a talented Frontend Software Engineer with expertise in Cypress and React to help them enhance their web applications. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing responsive and high-performance user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional and appealing user interfaces. - Develop and maintain web applications using React. - Write and execute automated tests using Cypress to ensure code quality and application reliability. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and fixing issues efficiently. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Frontend Software Engineer with a strong portfolio of web applications. - Proficiency in React, including state management and hooks. - Experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing. - Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
