Full-time Sales Assistant position available in a busy, high-end showroom environment, with opportunities to develop and demonstrate selling and customer service skills.
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will engage with customers to understand and deliver their expectations, in order to achieve sales targets for the business. You will also assist the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the business.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous high-end retail sales experience where high levels of customer engagement and delivery of excellent customer service are expected.
- A friendly and engaging personality.
- A proven track record in sales.
- Experience in bathrooms, tiles, wood floors and interior design.
- Experience in stores area of a busy sales environment.
The role involves:
- Responding to sales enquiries, either by phone or direct with customers, and providing advice, information, and quotations in a professional and timely manner.
- Meeting or exceeding individual sales and margin targets.
- Offering alternative products, up-selling when possible, promoting own brands and promoting across brand sales.
- Negotiating prices with customers within boundaries.
- Understanding customer expectations and needs.
- Monitoring customer orders and deliveries.
- Keeping customers updated on orders and deliveries.
- Resolving order and delivery issues and taking responsibility as and when required.
- Adhering to Company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with:

The ideal candidate will have:
- 1 year of sales experience (preferred).
- 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
This is a full-time position, working day shifts.
