Successful candidates must have:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar Irish bar or restaurant.
- Fluent in English.
- A good working attitude and not be afraid of hard work.
- A valid work permit or legal status to apply for this position, and be legally permitted to work full-time in Ireland.

Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Service:
- Greeting customers and providing menus.
- Taking orders and answering questions about the menu.
- Ensuring special requests or dietary needs are communicated to the kitchen.
- Being knowledgeable about the menu, including daily specials, promotions, and ingredients to make recommendations.
- Serving Food and Beverages:
- Delivering orders promptly.
- Verifying that the food is correct and prepared according to the customer's preferences.
- Refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and ensuring tables remain tidy during the meal.
- Customer Interaction and Satisfaction:
- Checking in with customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Addressing customer complaints professionally and escalating to management if needed.
- Billing and Payments:
- Providing customers with their bill, ensuring accuracy.
- Handling different forms of payment and returning the correct change.
- Receiving and managing tips from customers.
- Table and Section Maintenance:
- Preparing tables before customers arrive.
- Removing dirty dishes and cleaning tables after customers leave.
- Performing side duties such as folding napkins and stocking supplies.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Following food safety regulations.
- Keeping the dining area clean and sanitary.
- Maintaining a high level of personal hygiene.
- Communication:
- Effectively communicating orders to the kitchen staff.
- Working closely with other staff to ensure smooth service.
- Providing feedback to management about customer preferences.
- Upselling and Promotion:
- Recommending appetizers and desserts to enhance the dining experience.
- Informing customers about daily specials and promotions.
- Closing and Opening Duties:
- Setting up tables and preparing stations before opening.
- Cleaning tables and preparing for the next day.
- Handling Special Requests:
- Helping customers with specific needs.
- Assisting customers with takeout orders.
- Adhering to Restaurant Policies:
- Adhering to the restaurant's policies on attendance and conduct.
- Participating in required training sessions.
