Job Description

Our client, a leading global investment firm, is currently seeking a Fund Accountant/Senior Accountant to join their Fund Accounting team in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work within the financial operations of a Private Equity and Alternatives Fund of Funds platform, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and supporting key business initiatives. The Job: Fund Operations: Manage capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, and cash reconciliations for complex structured products and fund of funds vehicles. Fund Reporting: Prepare quarterly financial statements for both public company reporting and LP reporting. Ensure the accurate compilation and reconciliation of quarterly valuations, commitment, and cash flow reports communicated to LPs. System Modifications: Work with the tech team to adapt Investran for structured products and fund of funds. Collaborate on onboarding new funds and developing carried interest models. Presentations & Ad Hoc Reports: Assist in preparing quarterly presentations for LPs and other ad hoc reports. Support initiatives to simplify and increase efficiency in accounting, reporting, and business processes. The Candidate: Experience: Ideally 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial services or accounting. A CPA qualification is preferred but not required. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical capabilities. Experience with Investran, Workiva, and Floqast is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Competencies: Exceptional time management, interpersonal skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
