Fund Accounting Director Morgan McKinley have partnered with a global fund services provider who are seeking to hire a Fund Accounting Director to join their city centre-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role with one of Irelands growing fund services providers. Successful candidates will have oversight across all fund operations disciplines and play a key role in ensuring the robustness of fund operations implemented by the organisation. Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, including NAV calculations and fee calculations. Responsible for departmental NAV activities with final oversight of sign off procedures. Manage fund onboarding/auditing processes accordingly. Monitor service provider management framework to ensure providers perform in accordance with SLA terms, driving service quality progress. Oversee the production of fund board meetings reports. Oversee recruitment and performance evaluations. Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact. Prepare financial and regulatory reports. Identify and implement process improvements. Maintain fund accounting policies and procedures. Requirements: Prior experience in a fund accounting leadership role. Strong knowledge of hedge/private equity fund structures, accounting principles, and regulations. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in hedge/private equity fund accounting software. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
