Description JOB TITLE: Fundraising Officer LOCATION: Jigsaw National Office, Dublin 2. REPORTING TO: Fundraising Manager CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent Position summary Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, Jigsaw's new Fundraising Officer will be a central member of the communications and fundraising team. You will join a dynamic, fast paced, innovative and multi award-winning 10-person team that shares a passion for increasing awareness and funds for Jigsaw's youth mental health services and support. This role will be responsible for supporting all donor recruitment, acquisition, retention, and cultivation strategies to grow our passionate communities of supporters across the fundraising mix. You will be a people focused relationship builder who excels in working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organisational goals. For more information on Jigsaw, and the services and supports we provide, visit RESPONSIBILITIES You will work closely with the Fundraising Manager and the wider team in increasing supporter acquisition and retention across our key strategic audiences of public, corporate and philanthropy, delivering agreed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), agreed income targets and retention objectives, both regionally and nationally. Possessing excellent people skills, you will build strong person-to-person relationships with partners and supporters, to build our bank of impact content that delivers messaging that resonates with key audiences. In line with the highest standards of fundraising practice you will be central in the development, planning, budgeting of our suite of fundraising and donor recruitment campaigns. With focus on communications, acquisition, retention, cultivation and recognition. You will work to create and build strong and lasting supporter relationships, growing engagement, connection and lifetime value - and champion a best-in-class level of supporter care across the department. You will have experience of managing donors through a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform and will contribute to Jigsaw CRM's development and data management plans in line with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) guidelines. With a keen eye for results and impact, you will capture and communicate fundraising data in a clear manner that can enable decision making quickly and effectively. Internally, you will support internal colleagues and help promote a strong culture and understanding of the role of Fundraising and donor recognition throughout Jigsaw. You will actively participate in the delivery of all elements of our organizational Fundraising Strategy. Work collaboratively with other departments across Jigsaw and be a supportive and effective team member Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Essential Criteria: You are passionate about supporting young people with their mental health and achieving change in Irish society A minimum of 3 years' experiences working within fundraising, community development, project management or a related area Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and comfortable in speaking or presenting in-person, on the phone and online. Experience of working with a CRM system (Ideally Salesforce) The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and possess the skills to effectively work within cross functional teams in a collaborative environment You are insights-driven and are committed to quality, accuracy, and consistency Demonstrated ability to bring fundraising projects from strategy development through to execution, in line with fundraising income targets. Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience working in a detail-oriented position Excellent organisation and time management skills Ability to communicate and collaborate with co-workers in a team-oriented environment Demonstrate initiative and drive for results. Desirable Criteria: A 3rd level qualification in marketing or related field Experience in Salesforce is a distinct advantage Proficient in presenting and public speaking Previous experience in an NGO environment Full, clean driving license. This role also requires the ability to travel for work and the willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends, as required. Benefits Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Factors taken into account in determining an appropriate scale include the candidate's knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications relevant to the job. The salary range for this role will be €33,000 - €46,800.
