Our client is a Top Tier Firm based in Dublin City Centre, looking for a Funds Solicitor to join their team.
This role is for a Solicitor who has 3+ years' PQE in a large corporate firm.
Salary: Depending on experience Benefits: Pension Plan, Bonus, Parking, Bike to Work, Travel Tax Incentives, Annual Review.
The Role: To represent asset managers, including drafting key fund documentation such as prospectuses and supplements.
To negotiate and draft material fund contracts including administration and depositary agreements, investment management agreements, and management agreements.
To apply to the Central Bank and obtain authorisation for asset managers to act as discretionary investment managers to UCITS and QIAIFs.
Discuss new funds with both start-up and experienced managers.
Apply for the registration of UCITS and QIAIFs with foreign regulatory authorities.
Advise clients on the application of fund regulations to their business, including registering firms with the Central Bank as a Registered AIFM where relevant.
Review fund documentation.
The Candidate: Qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland or England with 3+ Years' PQE.
Someone who has a keen interest in working on a small number of mandates that don't fit a traditional private funds role, including joint venture agreements and occasionally advice on M&A transactions in the funds space.
Strong technical skills.
Good ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Works well in a team.
