Job Description
FX Trader sought to manage FX instruments, communicate with investors, and develop market-leading trading skills in a Dublin-based treasury team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transact FX instruments on behalf of fund managers
- Communicate news and views to a broad and diverse team of investors
- Develop an understanding of investors' objectives and requirements
- Manage all activities with care and attention
- Engage with portfolio managers and analysts on an ongoing basis
- Discuss flow trends, liquidity conditions, and market technicals
- Help influence investment decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with market participants
- Provide input in Trading/Technology projects to help enhance and future-proof trading workflows
- Filter and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience within FX markets
- Min 5 years' of FX Trading experience
- Familiarity with electronic trading systems such as FXConnect and FXall
- Knowledge and experience of OMS systems desirable
- Cross-asset mindset while leveraging quantitative pre and post-trade analytics
- Proven track record of enhancing and implementing trading workflows
- Familiarity with rules and regulations across the global financial markets
