Manage logistics queries and enhance customer experience in a global leader's Global Logistics Operations Center.
G-LOC Specialist (Ticket Handler)
Sanderson is partnering with a global leader in measurement instrumentation to fill this role.
- Efficiently manage and resolve logistics queries and concerns.
- Handle queries related to the Global Transportation Network delivery service through the internal ticket system.
- Foster cross-functional communication with internal customers and external parties.
- Collaborate with the team to navigate operational disruptions.
- Monitor and coordinate physical and IT flows through various TMS applications.
- Provide Information of Delivery (IOD) or Proof of Delivery (POD) as required.
- Coordinate shipping documents, including commercial invoices and customs documents.
Perform other duties as directed by your manager in the development of the role and the Global Logistics Operations Center.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business studies, preferably with a logistics focus.
- Experience in a freight forwarding agent with strong IT affinity.
- Prior experience in customer service is beneficial.
- Customer-oriented focus with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with SAP (Module WM) or other Transport Management Systems is a plus.
Preferred training and certification in ADR, IMO, and IATA.
