Galway-based Clinical Nurse Specialist Prostate Cancer role available in a multidisciplinary team at Galway University Hospitals, working 37.5 hours per week.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist Prostate Cancer will be part of a Consultant-led team responsible for the overall care of patients with prostate cancer. The post holder will liaise with relevant services and multi-disciplinary teams in the Saolta University Hospital Group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with Consultant-led multidisciplinary team to provide overall care to patients with prostate cancer
- Working with relevant services and multi-disciplinary teams in the Saolta University Hospital Group
- Providing expert nursing care to patients with prostate cancer
The initial post is temporary, covering maternity leave, and may be followed by a permanent or specified purpose vacancy. A panel may be created from which vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
