Clinical Nurse Specialist Prostate Cancer County: Galway HSE Area: HSE West Saolta University Health Care Group Staff Category: Nursing & Midwifery Contract Type: Specified Purpose, Whole Time Internal/External: External Proposed Interview Dates: Interviews will be held as soon as possible after closing date.
Candidates will normally be given at least one week's notice of interview.
The timescale may be reduced in exceptional circumstances.
Location of Post: Rapid Access Prostate Service, Galway University Hospitals.
The CNS Prostate Cancer will be part of the existing Consultant led multidisciplinary team within the hospital responsible for the overall care of patients with prostate cancer.
The post holder will liaise with relevant services and multi-disciplinary teams in the prostate cancer services in the Saolta University Hospital Group.
The initial post is temporary (Maternity leave cover), whole-time, working 37.5 hours per week.
A panel may be created from which permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.
