Keegan Group is a leading supplier of construction products in Ireland and the UK. We offer a range of services, including ready-mix concrete, concrete block manufacturing, precast wall and floor manufacturing, and calcium carbonate production.
We supply our products to customers in the commercial and domestic markets in Dublin, Meath, Kildare, Offaly, and Louth. Our precast is supplied throughout the UK and Ireland, and our calcium carbonate is provided to feed mills across Ireland.
We are seeking a Garage Manager to join our team at our head office in Co. Meath. This is a rare opportunity to work with a well-established construction company outside of Dublin.
The Role
We are looking for a Garage Manager to oversee the maintenance of our fleet of lorries and machines. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your duties will include:
- Managing routine maintenance operations of the fleet
- Leading a team of 2 mechanics to ensure adherence to procedures
- Ensuring timely execution of maintenance activities to meet service and quality standards
- Maintaining vehicle records, including services, repairs, and inspection checks
- Replenishing parts to meet maintenance requirements
- Ensuring health and safety requirements are met in the garage
- Performing other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Mechanic/Fitter background
- Experience in a similar role
- Self-starter
- Good IT skills
