Cpl Healthcare is seeking expressions of interest/CV applications for the post of Gastroenterologist & General Physician in a teaching Hospital in the West of Ireland. This is a 6 month specified purpose whole-time vacancy where the successful candidate will be part of a large multidisciplinary team, delivering this essential service. There is a requirement to participate in an on-call rota. The successful candidate will be required to meet the objectives of delivering high quality Consultant led Services and to manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of a comprehensive medical service. To be considered eligible you must : Be registered in or be in the process of registering with the Irish Medical Council. Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialties of gastroenterology and general (internal) medicine. Demonstrate appropriate experience and ability in providing G astroenterology and General (internal) Medicine related services at a Consultant level Demonstrate evidence of effective planning and organising skills including awareness of resource management and importance of value for money Ability to liaise with service providers on a local and regional basis. Ability and experience to participate in teaching, audit and research. Demonstrate effective communication skills Demonstrate awareness and appreciation of the service users Demonstrate leadership and team management skills Display evidence based clinical knowledge in making decisions regarding client care Ideally have Irish or UK experience Have excellent English skills Eligible to work in Ireland For further details please contact Catherine Hoban on: e: or t:
