Seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a full-time position at the Springfield, MO CBOC, providing top-quality medical care to America's Veterans.
The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville, AR, is committed to serving and honoring America's Veterans.
The ideal candidate will possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State.
Key Highlights:
- Potential starting base salary range: $300-$400 K
- Permanent full-time position
- Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Duties:
- Perform histories and physicals on admission
- Write progress notes
- Screen patients for endoscopy/colonoscopy procedures
- See patients in Gastroenterology outpatient clinic in collaboration with the supervising physician and according to the parameters of the scope of practice
- Perform Endoscopy/Colonoscopy

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English
- Must pass pre-employment physical examination
- Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP)
