Job Description
A Gastroenterologist is sought for a full-time position at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR, to provide top-quality medical care to America's Veterans.
**Job Highlights:**
• Potential starting base salary range: $300-$400 K
• Permanent full-time position
• Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

**Responsibilities:**
• Conduct histories and physicals on admission
• Write progress notes
• Screen patients for endoscopy/colonoscopy procedures
• See patients in Gastroenterology outpatient clinic in collaboration with the supervising physician and according to the parameters of the scope of practice
• Perform Endoscopy/Colonoscopy

**Requirements:**
• Active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State

• Must be proficient in written and spoken English
• Must pass pre-employment physical examination
• Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP)
