Job Description
Our client, a leading multinational based in Dublin West, is seeking a part-qualified accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP
- Prepare bank reconciliations for various legal entities
- Maintain property fixed asset registers, including additions and disposals
- Support senior accountants in other functional areas, such as fixed assets and corporate tax
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the finance integration of newly acquired businesses
- Participating in the preparation of VAT reporting
- Supporting the audit for Group purposes and the audit of IFRS Financial Statements and local Financial statements
- Contributing to the standardisation of processes across the P2P, O2C, and R2R functions
As a part-qualified accountant, you will have the opportunity to:
- Make an important contribution to the accounting and internal control systems
- Prepare accurate financial statements
- Work on integration projects and other finance projects
Requirements
- 2-3 years' experience in accounting
- Part-qualified accountant, while not essential, is an advantage
- Strong systems knowledge and intermediate/advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within limited time constraints
