Job Description
My client, a leading multinational based in Dublin West, is looking to recruit a part or qualified accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is hybrid working with study assistance, pension bonus, and healthcare.
Duties
- Assist monthly, quarterly & annual group reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP.
- Preparation of bank reconciliations on various legal entities.
- Responsible for monthly maintenance of property fixed asset registers (additions / disposals).
- Participate in the preparation of VAT reporting.
- Supporting senior accountants in other functional areas, such as fixed assets, corporate tax, etc.
- Assist with the finance integration of newly acquired businesses.
- Assist with the audit for Group purposes as well as the audit of the IFRS Financial Statements and the local Financial statements for entities across Europe.
- Participate in the standardisation of processes across the P2P, O2C, and R2R functions, working with colleagues in Europe, Asia, and the US.
- Important contribution to the accounting and internal control systems, and the preparation of accurate financial statements.
- Work on integration projects and other finance projects.
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required.
Education & Experience
- 2-3 years' experience.
- Part-qualified accountant, while not essential, is an advantage.
- Strong systems knowledge and intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within limited time constraints.
- Excellent analytic capabilities with attention to detail.
