Job Description

Lead a team of change management professionals in a large, complex healthcare environment, driving strategic alliances and programme management to achieve organisational development and innovation.

The General Manager, Change and Innovation will work closely with colleagues to develop expertise within their teams, focusing on systems change leadership, programme and portfolio management, and organisation development and design.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a change management plan with REOs and Executive Management Teams, aligning regional resources to support programme implementation.
  • Mapping existing change and innovation resources to scope out plans for formal working relationships.
  • Establishing Change and Innovation Hubs to focus on service integration, service design, and population health orientation.
  • Working with front-line teams to progress changes in work practices, supporting integrated working and Networks of Care.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience in change management and programme management roles, utilising relevant disciplines such as programme/portfolio management, organisation development and design, change management, quality/service improvement, and service innovation/transformation.
  • A proven track-record of leading and delivering complex, multidisciplinary programmes of work.
  • Experience of leading and managing change management/project teams and managing cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The General Manager, Change and Innovation will be responsible for the proper discharge of the duties of the role, requiring a high standard of suitability and management ability.
