Contract: Permanent Salary: $90,000 per year + great benefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen at the Dupont Circle hotel!We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to look after our Doyle bar.The successful candidate will manage all activities of the Doyle Bar function for the hotel, and identify strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction within the department’s services. You will ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations and be familiar with a variety of beverage concepts, practices, and procedures. You will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and maintain and enforce high standards of beverage and service quality to maximize profits.Specific job knowledge, skills and abilities:Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, Forbes & LQA service standards, guest relations and etiquette.Knowledge of bar operations to include appropriate staffing levels, service equipment, and guest relations.Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
