Role Title: General Manager Location: Snap Little Island, Cork The Company: Snap is a leading print and essential marketing/promotion services partner in Ireland. Position Description: This role presents an excellent opportunity for an individual who is forward-thinking and eager to be part of a growing company. As the General Manager at Snap, your primary objective is to lead, manage, and coordinate day-to-day operations and teams (spanning Sales, Customer Service, Design & Production), with a key focus in driving sales growth and profitability (Ebitda) for the business, and potentially other acquired businesses. You will be tasked with meeting targets, protecting existing business, and fostering new opportunities. You will lead by example, ensuring the timely execution of all requirements to provide the highest level of service to our customers, while driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and sales growth. Key Responsibilities: Create and implement strategies for business growth: Develop and execute plans to expand market presence and increase revenue. Improve internal processes to enhance productivity: Identify areas for improvement and implement efficient workflows. Analyse financial data and manage budgets effectively: Monitor expenses and revenue to ensure profitability. Develop key performance goals and manage staff performance: Set clear objectives for the team and provide ongoing development, feedback and support for the team. Drive long-term growth by building relationships with key customers: Cultivate strong partnerships and identify opportunities for expansion. Maintain accurate customer data on the CRM: Ensure all client information is up-to-date and accessible. Address customer issues promptly and professionally: Resolve any concerns or complaints in a timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction. Promote a positive working environment and open communication: Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency within the team. Coordinate with the team on administrative tasks: Oversee day-to-day operations and provide guidance as needed. Ensure compliance with ISO standards: Maintain adherence to quality and safety regulations. Perform other tasks as required: Handle additional duties as assigned by the CEO. Key Requirements: Strong relationship building and people management skills: Ability to establish rapport with clients and motivate team members, at a high level. Ability to drive sales performance and activity and manage a sales pipeline: Proven track record of managing sales team, meeting sales targets and closing deals. Proficiency in business management systems and CRMs: Familiarity with software tools for data management and analysis. Commercial acumen (experience of managing a P&L) and negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing agreements. Excellent communication and presentation skills: Clear and concise communication both verbally and in writing. Strong understanding of quality standards and processes: Knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel: Comfortable using spreadsheet software for data analysis. Experience in the Print industry is desirable but not essential: Previous experience in a related field is preferred. Clean driving license: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
