Job Description

Manage and lead a team of international staff to deliver exceptional hospitality and exceed customer expectations in a network of 7 Irish pubs across Holland, Belgium, and Germany.

We are an Irish family celebrating 60 years in business. We operate 7 pubs between Holland, Belgium and Germany. Our aim is to make people feel secure, happy, at ease and valued while celebrating Ireland and its culture. **Reporting to: Managing Director** **Primary Responsibilities:** * Ensure Cultural Alignment and Systems Adherence in the venue * Operate an authentic Irish pub to a high standard, with attention to detail * Provide an excellent atmosphere to relax, watch sports, celebrate and be entertained * Oversee the serving of premium drinks and contemporary cocktails, alongside home-cooked and seasonal food * Ensure staff deliver hospitality that is friendly, positive, and professional * Maintain an effective management style that is efficient and systems-focused **Cultural Alignment:** * Make colleagues and customers feel secure, happy, at ease and valued * Achievable by hiring and working with people who believe in our values and mindset * Values: + Core: Truth, Trust, Loyalty + Colleagues: Integrity, Humility, Respect, Fair + Customers: Friendly, Positive, Professional **Mindset:** * Care * Cultivate * Communicate * Choose **Systems Adherence:** * Create a team that believes in what we are trying to achieve * Operate our system with impeccable order and discipline * Deliver a profit through KPIs that are effective and efficient * Exceed expectations of colleagues and customers **Key Responsibilities:** * HR: Hire people who believe in what we are trying to achieve * Promote our culture, values, and mindset * Oversee the complete HR system for recruitment, legal, onboarding, training, assessment, development, meetings and finishing up, as per our SOPs * Resource and roster planning, in line with company KPIs * Managing, leading and motivating an international team * Operations: Use our in-house systems to ensure effective planning and communication in the Front of house, Kitchen and Office * Oversee the operating system regarding suppliers, equipment, product, stock control and administration * Ensure standard operational standards (SOPs) are maintained and enhanced * Contribute to product development using our in-house reporting system * Finance: Implement and adhere to our cash management, wages, cost control and financial planning SOPs * Delivering our KPI's regarding GP %, wages %, Operational Costs %, Financial Costs % and Marketing Costs % * Marketing: Exceed expectations and a reference point for staff regarding hospitality * Contribute effective social media content * Develop effective promotional and advertising ideas * Showcasing and selling private parties * Oversee the complete reservations systems and database management * Ensure customer queries and reviews are dealt with in a timely manner **Required Skills:** * Strong management and leadership skills * Excellent planning and communication skills * High attention to detail * Good computer skills and social media awareness * Consistently able to use Smartsheet and Google products per SOPs * Ability to deliver a high level of hospitality * Kitchen knowledge
