With a commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, they are a trusted partner for businesses seeking seamless logistics and fulfillment services across the continent.Position Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations while driving strategic growth pertaining to the 4 strategic goals of the company and ensuring the company meets its financial and operational goals. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the e-commerce fulfillment industry.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Execution:Contribute to development and implementation of strategic initiatives to expand the client’s market share in the European e-commerce fulfillment sector.Identify growth opportunities, including new markets, services, and technological innovations.Set performance goals and metrics for the company and ensure they are met or exceeded.Operational Management:Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.Manage and optimise the use of resources, including facilities, technology, and personnel.Ensure seamless integration of IT systems with e-commerce platforms to support the fulfillment process.Financial Oversight:Manage the company’s budget, ensuring financial targets are achieved.Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.Report on financial performance to stakeholders, including the executive team and board of directors.Leadership & Team Management:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organisation.Promote a positive work environment that values employee engagement, development, and well-being.Client & Stakeholder Relations:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders.Represent the client at industry events, conferences, and in the media.Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure that all operations comply with local and international laws and regulations.Identify potential risks to the business and develop strategies to mitigate them.Promote sustainable practices and ensure the company’s operations align with its commitment to environmental responsibility.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred).Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior management role within the logistics, fulfillment, or e-commerce sector.Proven track record of leading a company or division to achieve strategic goals and financial targets.Strong understanding of the European e-commerce and logistics landscape.Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills and ability to drive organisational change and behaviour.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in financial management and experience with budgeting and financial reporting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
