The Trustees of Muckross House (Killarney) CLG is a voluntary, not-for-profit registered charity dedicated to preserving and sharing the heritage of Muckross House and estate, local history, crafts and folk life.THE POSITIONThe General Manager will report to the Voluntary Board of Trustees through the Chairperson, and together with the Management Team, lead the delivery of the organisation's strategy. They will lead a dedicated workforce of 68 full-time employees and will be required to demonstrate effective leadership and vision for the role - working with the Board of Directors and the Management Team to shape the longer-term strategic direction of our organisation.REQUIREMENTSCandidates should have a proven track record in senior management within a similar-sized organisation, ideally in the heritage, tourism or hospitality sectors. Experience in managing risk, financial and human resources and complex stakeholder relationships is essential.
