We work with 30,000 farmers across Ireland and Poland and supply quality red meat products to many of Europes leading retailers and food service companies. Job Description: General Operatives (Retail Room) are required for busy period. The General Operative will be responsible for performing various duties associated with production.The role requires someone who works well in a fast-paced environment and can thrive under pressure.We require someone that can work a shift schedule and is willing to work overtime as necessary. You will be provided with training to enable you to become a fully skilled member of the team, thisis a Fixed term contract to the end of December with the possibility of extension. Role and Responsibilities: Carry out tasks within area of responsibility to meet daily output requirements Customer focused, putting customer needs first Meet production targets Working in a cold environment Compliance with any Health & Safety regulations including always wearing the appropriate PPE Assist with any adhoc duties as requested by your Supervisor/Line Manager Physical role with lifting and carrying techniques Have an understanding of hygiene procedures The ability to work as part of a team & ability to work under your own initiative Flexible approach to working hours Good communication skills Dynamic and adaptable Have a willingness to learn and develop yourself Desirable: Preferably have experience in a similar production environment, however training will be provided Skills: Experience working in a production environment good communication skills Dynamic and adaptable
